Iron Eagle (Classic Omega card) won the TV title on card #620 from Thantos. He never got to defend it, as he was seriously injured during a six-man tag-team match against Thantos and his Dangerous Alliance. The championship committee was forced to vacate the title, and a tournament was held to determine a new champion. The top 16 wrestlers were seeded and entered into the brackets.
