Brute & Mangus at ringside representing Malice & Maelstrom, Exo-King and Sentry for Zouave & Vendetta. Vendetta hits the Big Fall on the match's second move for a 2-count on Maelstrom. Maelstrom comes back but Zouave enters the ring. Zouave hits a few moves before Malice is tagged and takes over. Malice piledrives Zouave and lands a shoulder block before Vendetta is brought in again. The forearm hammer registers a 2-ct. on Malice, the two Big Falls forces Brute to make the distraction to save the Interplanetary champion. Zouave comes back in, but Maelstrom nails him on the floor. A throat slam suplex and crucifix power bomb picks up a 2-ct. on Zouave. Malice returns and misses his finisher and Zouave takes it to the floor. Vendetta comes in and goes back and forth with Malice. Maelstrom gets Vendetta down but he makes the tag to Zouave. Zouave blocks the fallaway slam and lands the Demolisher Suplex on Maelstrom for a near fall. Vendetta's power slam almost ends it, then a double neck breaker and leg drop off the top but Maelstrom kicks out. A brainbuster by Zouave gets the pin on Maelstrom.
RISING SUN + SPIKE VS JANUS + RAVEN
Lord Nexus & Brute with Rising Sun & Spike, Exo-King with Raven. Spike and Raven exchange blows to start then R. Sun comes in. Raven comes back and tags Janus. R. Sun gets away to tag Spike again and a trip to the floor benefits the Gladiator. A choke slam and decapitator doesn't put away Janus. They go the outside again and Spike gets Disqualified.
BLAZING SKULL + PEGASUS VS POWERHOUSE + RUIN
Star Warrior & Maleph, Sam and Cassandra at ringside. Pegasus opens it up against Ruin and gets the upper hand. The fight hits the floor where Pegasus is Disqualified with neither Blazing Skull or Powerhouse getting in the match.
MUTANT + DEATH KNIGHT II VS WOLF + TAURINE
Taurine starts it off against Death Knight II. An atomic drop gets the first 2-ct. on D.K. A piledriver brings Wolf in the ring, and a choke hold followed by the Claw ends the match with Mutant not seeing any action.
SKINHEAD + HERACLES VS DYNAMO +CHAOS
Johnny Rocket, Thantos and Star Warrior at ringside. Chaos and Heracles square off for the final time with as much history between two as possible. Neither is able to gain an upper hand after several minutes. Heracles connects with a flying leg drop for a near fall on Chaos. Skinhead comes in on fire with the bad attitude, slingshot and rocket rack for an amazing three-count to end the match.
EREBUS + MATADOR VS PRODIGY + NEFARUS
Maleph, Guile, Thantos, Sentry around the ring. The Matador hits the death run on Nefarus and follows up with the DDT to pin Nefarus within seconds of the bell ringing.
GRUNGE + GOLIATH VS DREGGS + SLASH
Johnny Rocket outside the ring. The gigantic Goliath, 7' 8", 426 lbs., easily takes control of Dreggs and Slash. A bear hug and body splash nearly beats Dreggs. Grunge comes in but Slash takes over briefly. Grunge gets on top and tags Goliath. Slash catches Goliath off the ropes with a guillotine leg drop and then pulls off a Liger bomb. Dreggs hits him with everything he's got, but Goliath freaks out and crushes Dreggs with one blow for the pin.
BUCK STEELE + TORTURED SOUL VS DEATH'S HEAD + TALON
Maleph and Exo-King managing. Death's Head gets one move in before Genocide throws him around the ring, a choke slam and the Corpus Genocide finishes things.
MOLLOCK + VYPER VS LANCE AT-LAS + BLOODLINE
Terrorists and Thantos nearby. Bloodline is undaunted by the awesome size of the nGo Mollock. A pair of Avenger Cannons, the Nebula Kneebreaker and the Masterlock puts Mollock on the mat. Bloodline misses the Big Bang and TV champion Vyper tags in. Vyper hits several moves before Bloodline squirms out of the ring. Vyper misses a backward dive to the floor but is not counted out. Lance is given the tag but is unable to capitalize. Mollock applies the Abominable Stretch (not a typo), but Lance comes back with the world beater. Bloodline gets the tag, uses the Masterlock again and then lands the Big Bang to win the match.
PITT + COMET KID VS PARAGON + CARNAGE
Another monster, Pitt, starts against Paragon. Paragon can't believe the ease in which he is being tossed around. Comet Kid comes in with a diving head butt and the Comet Shower for two near falls. Pitt press slams Paragon to the floor and follows him outside, where Pitt is then disqualified.
MACE + MAXX JUICE VS HOLOCAUST + GREG VALENTINE
Maxx Juice and Holocaust open it up and match power for power. Mace enters and levels his former partner with the W.A.R. Gun and a quick cover. Holocaust not tagging co-holder of the I-P tag titles Greg Valentine. Mace and Maxx double team Holocaust, Mace is working better with him then his normal partner Grunge. Valentine gets in the match, but a power backbreaker secures the pin.
GUNNER + MANSLAUGHTER VS DEFENDER + MAX SHIELD
Manslaughter beats down Max Shield to start, Gunner comes in and gets a nearfall. Max rallies to tag the Defender of the Realm. A Court Cruncher gets a two on Manslaughter. The Maximum Impact twice still doesn't beat the Code Enforcer. Gunner is tagged and goes back-and-forth with Max. Manslaughter is tagged but can't end the match. The Defender hits the Court Cruncher on Gunner for a three-count to advance.
BISHOP HELL + BLADE VS OVERKILL + MAD JESTER
Blade is forced to team with a hated enemy in Bishop Hell. Another note is Hell and the Jester are former I-P tag champs a long time ago. Overkill and Blade begin things with neither able to get an advantage. OK looks a little sluggish in this one and not on top of his game. Jester comes in and Blade finally tags B. Hell. The fight goes to the floor where the Jester gets an advantage. B. Hell is in trouble but a Catapult maneauver on Overkill almost beats him. Blade connects with the Springboard Hurricarana to pin the Gladiator.
BRAINSTORM + DAGGER MACK VS ROMULUS + RACK
Dagger Mack, former 6-Man Tag Champion, uses a loaded glove and a foreign object to beat Rack down to the mat. Brainstorm's Posedown Piledriver almost pinned the GWF Tag Champ. They double team Rack and the Back Stab twice still doesn't finish him. Romulus gets a tag, buts blows it by missing a charge in the corner. Mack returns the favor by missing off the top. Romuls' Punked Out doesn't pin Mack, and they fight to the floor. Romulus fairs better outside against Brainstorm. Rack levels the ladies man, then Mack. Outside it's Mack with the offense and the Back Stab once more pins Rack.
THUNDER + PAINMASTER VS MAYHEM + ANARCHY
Thunder and Anarchy start, but Mayhem quickly tags in against his partner. Thunder and Mayhem go all out with Thunder controlling things. He won't tag the Painmaster though until Mayhem tags Anarchy. Mayhem missed the Leap of Doom on Painmaster. Thunder uses the Tempest but Mayhem goes to the floor. It's a brawl and a Thunder piledriver beats the Death Match champion Mayhem.
AKUMA + ALPHA FORCE VS DOMINATOR + U.S. TRAITOR
Akuma hooks on a cross armbreaker and an Akido Superplex early against the Traitor. The Traitor comes back with a move off the ropes and then the Slingshot Suplex. He follows it up with the Turncoat Flyer to pin the martial artist and end the match without Alpha Force getting in the ring.
SOLDIER + VENGEANCE VS MUSS + DARK JUSTICE
The Vengeance Spasm and Eye Cleaver gets Muss in early trouble. Muss turns things around and Dark Justice keeps the offense going against Vengeance. But the GWF champion hits a piledriver off the ropes and tags the Soldier. It goes back and forth before Muss' high flying offense puts Vengeance down. The Gladiator rallies on the floor and the Helter Skelter pins Muss.
NTH DEGREE + SLEEZE VS CODE ENFORCER + BRAWLER
The Code Enforcer quickly has Sleeze in serious trouble and connects twice with Heads will Roll. The Backyard Brawler then comes in with the Teen Lunacy, and then puts ½ of Twin Blood through a table. The Code Enforcer returns to the ring with his finisher again, but Sleeze stays alive with the distraction from Johnny Rocket. Finally the Nth Degree is tagged in and he comes close to winning the match with his feet on the ropes. The Brawler takes over with a flying clothesline over the ropes to the floor and smashing Nth Degree into the railing. He puts ½ of Transformer through a table for good measure. Sleeze though turns things around, but is laid out by the Code Enforecer with a DDT. The Heads will Roll pins Sleeze for the win.
URSA MAJOR + TROYBOY VS MANDRILL + ORION
Ursa Major starts fast and gets a 2-count after a Titan Drop on Mandrill. Orion enters and Troyboy shows his offense. Orion whethers the attack and tags Mandrill, who punishes U. Major on the floor, but the Titan is able to return the favor. Troyboy pins Mandrill with the Flamboyant Forearm.
BIFF MALIBU + ENIGMA VS PAT CRASE + WALTER
Biff and Crase, members of the NgO, start the match. After Malibu uses a low blow, Crase retreats to the floor but is Dqed outside the ring, with neither partner entering the match.
SOLAR HAWK + SLAUGHTERHOUSE VS JACK + D. SHEIK
Solar Hawk puts the Jack of Diamonds down on the mat with power moves. Jack holds his own against both opponents and tags the Sheik. Slaughterhouse ends this one by getting Dqed against the Sheik.
BOMB + KATI VS DREADNAUGHT + COLOSSUS
Colossus takes apart Kati early and uses the Samoan Revenge to win the match with neither partner seeing any ring time.
TSUYOI + WRAITH VS WHITE TIGER + MONAD
Wraith connects with the Rocket Launcher on Monad, but he tags the White Tiger. Later it's Monad's submission hold on Wraith that almost ends it. Wraith survives multiple Tiger Punches and Tsuyoi comes in. The ninja unloads with the offense, but gives in to Monad's submission maneuver.
SUICIDE KID + SPLATTER VS TERMINUS + ARCHON
Suicide Kid is hurt by Archon's repetoire of holds. Terminus controls the high flyer easily, and Splatter makes one save before a pin. A brawl erupts and the Kid gives in to Archon's submission hold.
MIKE FORTUNE + HOMICIDE VS VECTOR ONE + TEX REMINGTON
Mike Fortune gets in trouble against Vector One, but Homicide supplies some good offense for his team. V1 come back with a slingshot body press over the top rope, but Homicide catches him and slams him to the concrete. A Hitman's Clothesline finishes off Vector One.
The 50 surviving wrestlers from round one were then randomly drawn for singles matches in round two. Here are the day two matches.
