This match pitted tag-team partners from the first round against each other. After reversing each other's moves, Lance hits the World Beater and a flying head scissors for a 2-count. Bloodline gets up first after a double clothesline, and slaps on the Masterlock. Lance does not submit, but gets hit with a dropkick off the ropes, and the Masterlock is applied again. Bloodline goes up top for the Big Bang, but again Lance kicks out. It takes the high risk move two more times before Lance is finally pinned.
COLOSSUS VS VENGEANCE
Colossus drew for his opponent the reigning GWF champion Vengeance. The Gladiator uses the Eye Cleaver and the torture grip to put the cyborg down. Colossus evens things up after a Robotic Death Blow. He uses a double smash and the Death Blow for a near fall. The match goes back and forth, as if the title was on the line. Colossus lands a double underhook DDT and scored the pinfall.
U.S. TRAITOR VS MIKE FORTUNE
This match was a grudge match, and this could be the last time members of the Cygnus Strikeforce and the Third Planet face each other. Fortune dominates early, after he flaunted his I-P tag title belt in the Traitor's face before the match started. A nice reverse neck snap almost does in the Traitor, but he follows up with a belly to belly suplex to score the three-count.
CARNAGE VS DAGGER MACK
Carnage takes over with his superior power and gets the first near fall. Dagger Mack is getting tossed all over the ring, but he continues to kick out. Mack resorts to a foreign object and nails Carnage and get the win.
DRACONIAN SHEIK VS PAINMASTER
This one didn't last long, as the Sheik's penchant for fighting on the floor gets the best of him, and it also got him DQed.
POWERHOUSE VS ZOUAVE
This one goes back-and-forth with both wrestlers relying on power moves. Zouave catches Powerhouse coming off the ropes and gets a 2-count. One-half of the Stormtroopers kicks out after the Death be not Proud. Both men exchange moves again, but Zouave seems to be getting the upper hand. Powerhouse catches him with the Earthquake, but Zouave kicks out. The former Assassin uses the Death be not Proud again to get the win.
HOMICIDE VS MAX SHIELD
Homicide goes crazy early on with flying elbows and splashes. Shield rallies with a power bomb. Homicide hits the DOA but Shield gets a shoulder up. Max comes back with a rocket launcher and the Maximum Impact pins Homicide.
GOLIATH VS MONAD
This ended up being nothing more than a squash, as Monad didn't stand a chance and was pummeled and pinned in quick fashion by Goliath.
SOLDIER OF FORTUNE VS ARCHON
Soldier of Fortune comes out strong at the bell with power moves. He hits Archon with a piledriver and then the Revenger scores the upset for the former Mercenary.
JANUS VS BLADE
Janus feels the Blade of Retribution early, but he's not going to be put away that easily. The Gordian Knot is applied three times before Blade passes out from the pain. (Note: Blade's pin was 12 and I rolled a 12 so the match continued before he was finally beaten. I let the match continue if a 12 is rolled.)
WOLF VS MATADOR
Two top GWF stars drew each other in this match, but only one can advance. Matador uses his technical expertise to start, but Wolf takes over after a backbreaker and DDT. The Matador hits his DDT for a 2-count. The Matador is on the offensive until Wolf lays him out with a chair shot. Wolf gets caught with the DDT again and it is the Matador who moves on.
TROYBOY VS DOMINATOR
The Dominator gets the momentum following a crucifix power bomb on Troyboy. Then the Painful Domination finishes off the youngster.
BIFF MALIBU VS HERACLES
Heracles goes right to work on Biff Malibu with his tremendous power. Back-to-back Olympia's wins it.
DEFENDER OF THE REALM VS MAXX JUICE
Classic big man vs. little man in this one. Maxx Juice is devastating with his power and crushes the Defender with the nGo Driver and the Maximum Overdrive. The Defender wriggles out of a choke slam and hits the Throne Strap. He fights back at every instance, but another choke slam by Juice ends the match.
PARAGON VS WHITE TIGER
Paragon hits a series of moves and a full nelson suplex gets a two. White Tiger keeps from having the Final Overture applied, but then takes a flying shoulder tackle. Paragon almost gets a count out victory, but eventually does use the Final Overture to win the match.
VENDETTA VS TORTURED SOUL
Vendetta goes for the win with the Big Fall. Tortured Soul comes back after going to the floor and puts on the Rotting Claw three straight times. The Brymstonian doesn't let up and keeps using the claw. Vendetta hits a clothesline to get away, a power slam and leg drop gets his a two. After another trip outside, Vendetta continues to toss Tortured Soul around. Tortured Soul is tough though, not going down until he gets hit with the Big Fall again.
ENIGMA VS RUIN
If there was ever a classic mismatch, this would be it. Ruin crushes Enigma at the start and has two near falls. Ruin misses a splash, and Enigma hits a hurricanrana and a tornado ddt gets him a two count on one half of the GWF tag-team champions. The Assassin then leaves the crowd breathless after his Enigma Suicida to the outside, but both men are knocked unconscious by the move. A double-count out eliminates both of them.
TAURINE VS URSA MAJOR
Ursa Major started off on offense but couldn't keep Taurine down. Taurine's ddt off the ropes got a two count. Taurine maintained the advantage for several minutes, then the Titan rallied on the floor. A victory roll and a moonsault didnt' end the match though. Taurine goes off the top rope three times to get the pin.
RAVEN VS EREBUS
Erebus surprises Raven with his offensive assault early. The fight stays on the floor a long time but the ref counts real slow. Raven gets the fight back in the ring, but not for very long. The Skullworks by Erebus almost wins it. A Broadsword by Raven almost gets him a countout victory. Then the Bladerunner gets the job done.
BRAINSTORM VS DREADNAUGHT
It wasn't to be for the sentimental favorite Dreadnaught. Brainstorm came out all business for a change and pearl harbored him before the bell. A sledgehammer and the Brainstormer ended this one fast.
BISHOP HELL VS SKINHEAD
Bishop Hell goes for a crucifix power bomb, but Skinhead gets free and slingshots him across the ring. Bishop Hell kicks out after getting hit with a pair of brass knucks, twice. The bad attitude doesn't win it for Skinhead either, but then a piledriver finishes off the fiery one.
GENOCIDE VS TERMINUS
Genocide is too much for anyone right now. Terminus is able to slow him down after a fast start, and even withstands his big finisher. Genocide comes off the top twice more to get the win.
GRUNGE VS MACE
This one a lot of people have been wanting to see, as tag-team partners that don't like each other get to square off. This is a war, Grunge hits Mace with every move he has but can't keep him down. Grunge goes all out, and tries a plancha to the floor, but Mace catches him and slams him to the concrete. Grunge makes it back in the ring though, and kicks out of two power bombs. It's time for some foreign objects and Mace is the one who kicks out. Outside again, Mace dominates and almost gets the countout. A big clothesline isn't enough, and Grunge stays alive after the Maxis Mauler. He finally goes for the Guitar Shot and beats Mace.
