GWFC BATTLEZONE

Card #922
Centra Palladium

PROMO

The people of Centra were saddened to hear the wrestlers would soon be leaving to return to their home dimension. Those that became wrestling fans hoped another league would start up, while those that wanted the aliens gone were happy. Either way, the GWFC's send off event is one of the largest mega cards in all of wrestling history.

Commissioner Morpheus released a statement on the final ppv. event.

GWFC Battlezone will be the final show held on Centra. Emanating from the Centra Palladium, four Battlezone championship matches highlight the card that has every single wrestler on the roster involved.

The GWFC champion, Centra champ, tag-team and six-man champs will all put the titles on the line against four challengers in a Battlezone match. Two men will be randomly drawn to start the match. The winner stays in the ring to face the next man and so on. The last one left wins the match.

Six-man tag champs the Rocketmen (Twin Blood and Paragon) will face:
Team CPC (Disorder-X & Terminus)
Gladiators (Vengeance, Spike & Mayhem)
Terrorists (Vyper, D. Sheik, Greg Valentine)
Hitmen (Splatter, Mike Fortune, Dark Justice)

Centra title holder Prodigy defends against:
Max Shield
Painmaster
Manslaughter
Euritar

Tag-Team champions Titan Attack are challenged by:
Gladiators (Malice & Overkill)
Enigma & Skinhead
Desolation Factor
Rebel Empire

GWFC champion Genocide meets:
Wolf
Thunder
Mandrill
Bloodline

Your quadruple main event is actually 16 matches in itself.

The rest of the card is as follows:

Dreadnaught v. Grovel v. Mutant (Triple Threat)
Soulwatcher & Sir Ender v. Son of Ram & Antak
Anarchy v. Murdok (Nightmare Matrix)
Lance At-Las & Meteor v. Theatre of Pain
Corporal Aegis v. Tortured Soul (Centra Coffin Match)
Name v. Transformer
Rising Sun v. Tocsin v. Wraith (Triple Threat)
Archon v. Pegasus (Titan Death Match To A Finish)
Ravagers v. Cygnus Strikeforce v. Ninja Assassins (Triple Threat)
Blade v. Blazing Skull (Four Weapons of Destruction)
Warfare v. Trench (Circinus Cell Match)

This event will leave a lasting impression long after the GWF has left Dimension Y.

GWFC Battlezone was the final event to be held on Centra, as the GWF superstars prepare to return from whence they came.

Dreadnaught v. Grovel v. Mutant (Triple Threat)

This was a solid match throughout. After many trips to the outside and fighting among the three of them, Grovel eliminated Dreadnaught. Mutant was able to put away Grovel to win the match, and then continued his attack after the match. Grovel will be taking home with him some new injuries.

Soulwatcher & Sir Ender v. Son of Ram & Antak

Soulwatcher could do nothing but stand on the apron and watch as Antak and Son of Ram wiped out Sir Ender and won the match in quick fashion.

Anarchy v. Murdok (Nightmare Matrix)

Though the fans still don't know what to make of Murdok yet, they knew enough not to root for Anarchy. Anarchy controlled the majority of the match, but Murdok is extremely resilient. The Matrix played a part in letting each man come back on offense, and Murdok scored the victory.

Lance At-Las & Meteor v. Theatre of Pain

The Theatre of Pain looked very sharp in their final match in the GWFC. Lance At-Las and Meteor did not get the send off they wanted in what will probably be the retirement match for both men. Lance never made the tag as he was annihilated by the masked men and pinned.

Corporal Aegis v. Tortured Soul (Centra Coffin Match)

Aegis brutalized Tortured Soul for quite awhile, but the dead one is tough and kept coming back. Both men had chances at stuffing the other in the coffin, but Tortured Soul was able to get the job done and bury the fan favorite.

Name v. Transformer

An excellent tag-team encounter. Name stayed in charge for most of this one, but Transformer wouldn't go down easily. The two Jesters however did put away Nth Degree and Monad.

Rising Sun v. Tocsin v. Wraith (Triple Threat)

Wraith took the majority of the beating in this one. Rising Sun eliminated Tocsin, then went on to win the match over Wraith.

Archon v. Pegasus (Titan Death Match To A Finish)

This match didn't turn out to be as good a one as thought. Pegasus fought hard and made Archon work, but the new hardcore Archon was up to the task and picked up a solid win.

Ravagers v. Cygnus Strikeforce v. Ninja Assassins (Triple Threat)

Cygnus Strikeforce was the first to be pinned by the Ravagers. The Assassins stayed with the Ravagers for quite awhile, but the home team won this match.

Blade v. Blazing Skull (Four Weapons of Destruction)

It was a defining moment in the career of Blade, and he lived up to it. He gave the Skull little chance to go on the offensive and a brutal match saw Blade record a major victory for himself and the Centaurians.

Warfare v. Trench (Circinus Cell Match)

Warfare owned Trench in all of their previous matches. This time Trench was able to steal an upset win in the cage and escape with little damage done to him.

Next up were four Battlezone matches for all the GWFC belts.

Team CPC (Disorder-X & Terminus) were first in the ring against the Terrorists. They went on to defeat them, the Hitmen, Six-Man champs the Rocketmen (Twin Blood & Paragon) and the Gladiators (Vengeance, Spike, Mayhem) to win the match and the titles.

For the Centra title, Prodigy (champ) opened with an upset of sorts against Manslaughter. Painmaster survived Prodigy to face Euritar. Euritar moved on to beat Max Shield to win the Centra title.

GWFC tag champs Titan Attack opened with a tough victory against the Rebel Empire. They fought hard but lost to Enigma & Skinhead, who then fell to the Gladiators (Malice & Overkill). Desolation Factor coudn't finish them off and the Gladiators took the tag-team titles.

In the main event, Bloodline started with a fast win over Thunder. He then was able to pin Wolf to move on against GWFC Champion Genocide. Genocide eventually pinned Bloodline to square off against Mandrill. The Colonizer continually left the ring and kept from getting pinned. A couple Claw Slams and later a couple Mutant Mauler's and Mandrill held Genocide down for the 3-count to win the GWFC heavyweight title.

The fans wanted to show their appreciation to the GWFC roster for the action that night, but the sight of Mandrill in the middle of the ring with the belt left the arena with an eerie quiet to it.
