CPC HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT

Magnus Colby is ready to take on the GWF head to head. In an effort to compete against the GWF's Iron Man Tournament, he has struck a deal with another broadcaster to have his inaugural championship tournaments free on live TV, being aired exactly opposite of the GWF's ppv.

The CPC heavyweight title tournament will go up against day 1 of the Iron Man. The CPC tag title tourney the next day, and the Interstellar tournament the final day. The 8 wrestlers eliminated in the first round of the heavyweight tourney will be entered in the I-S tourney along with another 8 men waiting patiently.

Colby's new organization has been able to sign a lot of independent wrestlers, much more than any other new fed due to his financial status. Will the GWF soon be looking over its shoulder at the CPC? Only time will tell.

Magnus Colby is still pulling tricks out of his sleeves. While Heracles was forging himself a lead in the Iron Man Tournament's day 1, the CPC held a one night 16-man tournament for the CPC heavyweight title at the Colby Mansion on Planet Colby.

Not only is he competing head to head with the GWF, he's trying to get on President Cordanus on his good side. Colby invited the President to sit with him in his own luxury box and watch the matches. Colby is also rumored to pitching to Cordanus the idea of only one wrestling organization allowed in the galaxy and to have it overseen by the government. Colby is pulling out all the stops in an effort to make sure his CPC stays alive.

In the tournament's opening round:

The Jack of Diamonds polished off the nGo's Biff Malibu in only three moves.

Terminus and Mollock fought out to the floor, ending in a double DQ.

Two former GWF superstar, Janus and Holocaust, met in round 1. Janus got the better of Holocaust in this one.

The 7' 8" Goliath destroyed Zouave.

White Tiger and Vector One fought in the best match of the first round. Both went back-and-forth on offense, but Vector One advanced.

Dynamo stood toe-to-toe with Maxx Juice. Juice finally overpowered the GWF veteran to win.

Solar Hawk disposed of GWF legend Bishop Hell.

The Dominator eliminated Kati.

Quarterfinals

Jack received a bye.

Janus took on Goliath in the 2nd round. The more agile CPC man finally got Goliath off his feet and won with the Gordian Knot.

Maxx Juice squeeked by Vector One, winning by DQ.

Dominator defeated Solar Hawk.

Semifinals

Another GWF match between Jack and Janus. The Jack of Diamonds dominated again and reached the finals.

Maxx Juice overcame the Dominator.

Finals

The Jack of Diamonds in the eyes of some exercised all his past demons by pinning Maxx Juice to become the first CPC heavyweight champion.
